Theological education

My desire is to make scholarship available for the layman so that he may know better , his Bible WILLIAM BARCLAY
Many workers consider that theological education is necessary and that it is the only way to know God,
But how many of them encourage believers, interested people in their congregation, to study theology by sending them to theological colleges? Many leaders think that theological education is needed only for pastors who run the church and those who serve as full-time ministers, and not for believers.
This is a blatantly absurd argument.
The scripture is for everyone. It is not written only for full-time workers .
Theology means knowledge about God.
So theological education is needed for all believers.
.Every church should become a theological college
.Every believer must become its student .
This is God's will .
Those pastors who cannot send all the students to the theological colleges should teach the theological education they have received to the believers and make them theologically sound in their Church.
Pastors and leaders who collect tithes from the believers must teach theological lessons to the believers.
The only way a pastor can save his church is to lead the believers to sound theological teachings.
They send their daughters and sons only abroad for their theological study.
They will not send any interested believers even to the local theologica colleges.
Do not quench the desire of believers to learn theology.
I am not talking about small churches. If the pastors who lead the church of 500 to 1000 believers do not come to this mindset, the sermon they preach and Christianity is hypocritical.
A church that makes theological education common to all its believers is a church that is prepared to stand up against false teachings.
Pastors who do not teach the believers this basic theological education can never be considered good shepherds at the time when false teachings come in like flood.
