Tent life
Just for your thoughts.
We see that Abraham and Isaac built altars and worshiped God wherever they went, living in tents.
The Israelites also lived a tent-dwelling life until they took possession of Canaan, the land God had promised them. Likewise, we too are called to live a tent life.
This is what Paul clearly explains in 2 Corinthians 5:1–9.
We, who are chosen with the knowledge of going to the heavenly Canaan, are called to live a tent life where our needs are met—not a palace life filled with luxury. Whatever our individual circumstances and callings may be, a tent mindset should be evident in us.
Our homes, our lives, and even the churches we attend should reflect this tent mindset. If we speak about the Lord’s coming, yet our lives do not display a tent mindset, then we will be seen as believers who are deceiving the Lord.
