When we are born again, we stand on equal status before God. However, each of us has been called with a different calling.
In that calling, God does not make a distinction between full-time ministry and part-time ministry. Before God, we are all called to serve Him in different capacities and to live with Christ. There is no superiority in one calling over another; what matters is how faithfully we fulfill the calling we have received.
God looks at how we function in our calling, how faithful we are, and how pleasing our lives and service are to Him. According to our faithfulness, the Lord will reward us and give us our appropriate rewards.
There is no one standard of measurement for full-time ministers and another standard for other believers. God is not partial. He evaluates each person according to how faithfully they fulfill the calling that He has given them.
Therefore, a believer does not need to long for another person's calling simply because he or she has not entered full-time ministry. There is also no need to feel inferior. Our responsibility is to faithfully fulfill the calling God has given us.
When we remain faithful to the calling we have received and serve in a way that is pleasing to the Lord, He will certainly give us the reward that is prepared for us.
