The Tears of the Child Who Brought Down Pharaoh
Just for your thought:
The Tears of the Child Who Brought Down Pharaoh
The very weapon Pharaoh tried to use to destroy the Jews was the weapon by which he himself fell. The Lord defeated Satan with the very tool he wielded. Pharaoh attempted to wipe out the Jewish race by killing all newborn male children. Yet, it was through one child who survived Pharaoh’s own decree that he ultimately fell.
Everything that happened in Moses' infancy was part of God's foreordained plan.
The daughter of Pharaoh found the child lying in a papyrus basket along the banks of the Nile.
The baby wept. Moved by compassion, Pharaoh's daughter chose to raise the child. Through Moses’ sister, his own mother was appointed as his nurse. Later, when he grew older, this same child was handed over to Pharaoh's palace, where he received training in all the wisdom of Egypt.
None of these events occurred by chance.
Each was divinely orchestrated. If the child had not cried at that moment, Pharaoh’s daughter might not have chosen to adopt him. That infant’s tears became the tool that led to Pharaoh’s downfall.
God used a small act to bring down a mighty empire. Just as He often uses the weak, the overlooked, and the humble to accomplish great things, so He used the cries of a three-month-old baby as a powerful instrument. He is a God of profound wisdom.
In the life of someone known by God, nothing happens by accident. We must never take lightly anything that God allows in our lives. Often, such events may be part of His long-term divine plan.
