இது வேதத்தின் படியான சரியான பார்வை.
ஆதித் திருச்சபையின் வரலாற்றைச் சற்று ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்தால் இந்தக் கூற்று எவ்வளவு உண்மை என்பது புரியும்.

Elders are accountable to one another in church polity. This kind of plurality is rooted in the wisdom of God and acts as a guard against individual oversteps of authority. Where one man can go wrong, three might correct him.''
But in reality it is nowhere found in our Churches.
போதகர்கள் இதைப் பற்றிப் பேசாமல் மௌனமாக இருப்பது ஏன்?. இந்தக் காரியத்தில் மேய்ப்பர்களின் அமைதி தேவனுடைய சித்தம் அல்ல.
நம்முடைய தமிழ் வேதாகமத்தில் மூப்பர் என்று ஒருமையில் தவறாக மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இறையியல் படித்த வேத பண்டிதர்கள் இந்தப் பிழையை அறிந்தும் மறைக்கிறார்களா அல்லது அறியாமலே இருக்கிறார்களா. ?
இதில் இன்னொரு காரியத்தையும் வலியுறுத்த விரும்புகிறேன்.
சபையின் தலைமைப் பொறுப்பு ஒரு குழுவாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பது மட்டுமல்ல சபைகளின் நிர்வாகங்களில் தலைமை பொறுப்புகளில் விசுவாசிகளுக்குரிய இடத்தை அளிப்பதும் வேதத்தின் படி சரியே. The believers should have a space in church administration in all aspects.
