HIGHEST MOTIVE OF A MISSIONARY
The highest of all missionary motives is neither obedience to the Great commission, nor love for sinners but rather zeal- burning and passionate zeal – for the glory of Jesus Christ. Only one imperialism is Christian, however, and that is concern for His Imperial Majesty Jesus Christ, and glory of His empire or kingdom rather than for the honour for our church, organization nation, language, caste or ourselves.- John R.w.Stott
