Esau, a man of missing grace
Esau, a man of missing grace (Heb 12:12-17)
Esau was a good hunter. He was loved by his father. He was a congenial fellow.
But he was a fornicator and sexually immoral. His initial preference was for pagan wives. (.Gen 26:34-35 ;28:8-9)
In the same way as a “common person” and “profane person” he lived for the world and not for God. Lack of spiritual diligence made a difference.
Lesson from Esau.
Certain choices can be unmade and certain consequences which even God cannot take away.
God can and will forgive but cannot turn back the clock, something that has happened can never be undone.W.Barclay
