God's sovereignty is above all Genesis
God called Abraham and brought him to Canaan and promised him to give the land to his descendants. Isaac was born according to God's promise. He had chosen Jacob instead of Esau. Therefore, Jacob's 12 children were entitled to the promise.
But the thing that happened was that these 12 children were not born in the Canaan that God had promised. They were born in a place beyond Canaan. But the 12 children born to Jacob's brother Esau were born in Canaan. God did not give Canaan to those who were born in Canaan. He allowed them to go to another land and settle in a place called Seir and ordered a different blessing for them. The lesson is that when we can work hard in one place and try to be blessed in that place. But God will prepare another place for us and bless us there. It is God's sovereign right to bless whom and where and how. We cannot claim any rights from God on the basis of our work, birth and merit. God's eternal decision is the main thing.
God gave a different place to the sons of Esua who were born in Canaan. The sons of the soil did not get what the world standard determined. God gave Canaan to those who were not born in that land. God's sovereignty is above all Genesis 36:6
